Information Design

This is an intermediate studio course in graphic design exploring the fundamental theories and methodologies of visually communicating information. I was able to examine the development of creative design, find solutions involving research, information analysis, and problem solving. I was able to consider context, concept, narrative, audience, and process.

Mapping Our World: Pandemic Plant Plot

In this project we designed a mapping any part of our world, and I decided to map out the plot of land I have not left since the Pandemic has started. I exaggerated the features around my home to emphasize the locations of the plants and used symbols to indicate significant spots in the map.

Moving Data into Design: YOUR VOTE COUNTS!

I gathered some information from Pew Research that helped split up the way the two democratic parties look at voter fraud and where they get their sources from. I manipulated it into making it more graphic by using the opposing symbols, color, and type.
