COMPLEX Line
The final line has a mix of custom designs with additional assets sent over by Tate McRae's artist team. My designs then contributed to tour items such as VIP gifts and cards after the COMPLEX line was released.
Iterations
My first round consisted of playing with Tate's first name in ways that applied to her inspirations. Inspiration keywords consisted of grit, tomboy, girl code, y2k, innovative, cunty, and many more.
Round 2 + Refinements
I made these two additional graphics, which were then selected. I followed up by refining the grittiness so it can be applied to darker backgrounds on merchandise.
